1.What was your first car? Was it always performance vehicles from the start? My first car was a 1980 Mercury Capri.  It was not pretty and it was not fast but it was mine.

2. What drove you to become a race car driver?  I have always loved cars and racing made it possible to drive them fast.  My first racing experience was drag racing the Mercury in the 80’s, what a thrill for a high school kid.  I started road racing in the early 2000’s and have just loved being on the track.

3. Has your interest in track and road cars changed over the years?  I have always liked race cars but I have been more of a collector of vintage road cars. That has definitely changed since I started racing vintage cars.  I am very interested in vintage race cars.

4. What are your favorite tracks?  I have the most time and Sonoma and because it is close to home, but my favorite is Laguna Seca.

5. Bucket List Tracks.  I am really interested in racing on the historic road courses in the US.  I would love to go east and race at Lime Rock, Watkins Glen, Mid Ohio, Road America and Sebring.

6. What cars do you currently have?  Race cars I have a 1966 Alfa Romeo Sprint GT and in the process of restoring a 1968 Porsche 911 T/R  My current favorite road cars that I own are a 1970 Porsche 911S and 1953 Porsche 356

7. What do you enjoy most about driving a vintage racing?  I love the excitement of driving old race cars fast and seeing such a great variety of cars on the track and in the paddock.  I really enjoy the great people that are friendly and out there just to have a great time.

8. What brought you to Huffaker?  I met Dave Hagan at a car rally and his enthusiasm for vintage racing and Huffaker were contagious.  I am very happy he brought me into this great community of car enthusiasts and race drivers.
