1. How long have you been racing?

1 1/2 years

2.  What cars have you raced and what do you race now?

- I took my class at Sears Point/Sonoma Raceway in an F3 car, and I've now raced two Huffaker prepared MGBs and a Porsche 914/6. I own a 1965 MGB and recently acquired a 1976 Porsche 914/6.

3. What is your favorite track? What track is on your bucket list?

I've only driven Sears Point/Sonoma Raceway and Laguna Seca so far, both are fantastic. I have too many bucket list tracks to list, but my top 3 are: Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, COTA, and Watkins Glenn

4. What do you love most about vintage racing?

There's a camaraderie between the racers, teams helping each other out in the paddock, drivers sitting around pre- and post-race talking about our cars and races, and recognizing how fortunate we are to get to do this. Vintage racing is also a family affair for me, my dad races some amazing cars and both my mom and girlfriend come to the races to cheer us on, it's awesome when you get out of the car to have your loved ones all smiles congratulating you.

5. What’s your favorite memory from a vintage race?

I was fortunate to have a good friend, David Martin, loan me a car for my first race and I was a little bit timid at the start of the qualifying race, owing to the fact that the car wasn't mine and it was the first time I'd really been in traffic. I stayed behind the car in front for almost two laps, getting used to faster cars passing us, and coming down the front straight to start the second lap I decided I was going to pass the car in front. The feeling as I made the pass cleanly and at speed was like nothing I'd ever experienced before and that gave me the confidence to know that I belonged in a race car and I was truly going to love vintage racing.

6. Can you share something funny about one of your Huffaker racing mates?

We're always playing jokes on one another, usually involving bright green tape and a sharpie "warning" drivers behind about the skill, or lack thereof, of the driver behind the wheel.

7. What’s your favorite thing about vintage racing?

My favorite thing about vintage racing is that we get to take works of art and run them hard around race tracks as they were meant to.
