1. How long have you been racing?

I attended SCCA Drivers school at Sears Point Raceway in an MGB 200 years after the 13 Colonies Prepared the Declaration of Independence.

2. What cars have you raced and what do you race now?

I currently race a Huffaker Genie, MK10 and a Huffaker Genie MK4 and a Nascar Winston Cup car from 1989, Chevy Lumina.

My race cars from the past are: MGB ground up new race car by Kris Heil/ Huffaker Engineering. I had 4 sports race cars I ran in the Pro Series from 86' to 93' Tiga 81, Mariah KBH, Swift DB2, Lola 89'90', Then on to Nascar, with a Chevy Lumina, and a Monte Carlo. Next I was on to Vintage with a Morgan and another MGB

3. What is your favorite track?

Laguna Seca is my favorite track with a Lap record in E Production that lasted till the last year of the original track, only Mario and I had the distinction with his in F5000.

4. What track is on your bucket list?

My Bucket list tracks are Watkins Glen and Silverstone.

5. What do you love most about vintage racing? 

The thrill of the competition, the adrenaline rush of driving “at speed”

7. Can you share something funny about one of your Huffaker racing mates?

My Huffaker mates are Comedy Central, their focus is to embarrass their mates, rarely talk of their careers. When I first met David Martin, I offered him some advice on the pending race which we were all in , David listened intently like the gentlemen that he is and said, Don't tell JR, ok?
