1. How long have you been racing?

Since my first tricycle in 1956.

2. What cars have you raced and what do you race now?

I began in autocross events in a 1965 Mustang and a 1968 Austin Healy MkVI Sprite.  I raced for a few years in the SCCA in a Spec Racer Ford.  Now I am delighted to be a member of the vintage racing community.  I run a 1967 Mini Cooper S and a 1959 BMC Huffaker Formula Jr.

3. What is your favorite track?

It’s quite a commute from Indianapolis for race weekends, but I love both Sonoma and Laguna Seca.

4. What track is on your bucket list?

Its got to be the Goodwood Revival.  Someday.  And while across the pond it would be pretty cool to add in Monaco Historic GP in the spring.

5. What do you love most about vintage racing?

Vintage racing brings together a fascinating community of people who share a love for great old race cars and just the right level of competitive juices.  Every vintage racer takes pleasure in seeing these old cars do what they’re supposed to do – run at speed.

6. What’s your favorite memory from a vintage race?

The last race, whenever that occurs.

7. Can you share something funny about one of your Huffaker racing mates?

Well its funny now, but having one of my teammates (he knows who he is) bidding anonymously against me for my FJ was an interesting experience.  He owes me a bottle of really good wine.
